The main essentials are in the cabana but the area is very undeveloped so having a vehicle would be useful but not necessary. The beach restaurant is a 10 minute walk that offers local cuisine and cocktails, situated in front of the surf. It’s a great spot for lunch and socializing. It would be best to arrive with snacks but there is a mini fridge with beverages and snacks for an additional cost. You can drive to the town of Escamecita where there are a few good local restaurants and bars. There is no main grocery store here and the town of San Juan del Sur is 14km away. You will find a few small pulerias in Escamecita where you can buy beverages and small items.
