Great cottage to stay at. Clean and had plenty of character. Very close to centre of the village which was especially great for father in-law who struggles to walk any significant distance. Would definitely use again.

The good: Gin’o’Clock is a very pretty little cottage, in the heart of Mevagissey, a 5 min walk from the harbour. The bedding was comfortable and very clean and it has all the mod cons like WiFi, smart tv, etc. Now for the bad: we did notice significant dampness in the air when we arrived, also evidenced by the two dehumidifiers set up in the hall/landing. There was also significant dust build up in parts of the bathroom, which had gone a bit mouldy due to all the moisture. We kept the place quite warm on the first day to help dry it out, and the constant running/draining of the dehumidifiers wasn’t something we wanted or expected on our holiday. A shame really, as the cottage would’ve been so much more enjoyable otherwise.

This cottage is in an excellent location and is great value. It's flat 5 minute walk to the harbour and town centre - something rare in Mevagissey. It also means you don't need to drive through the crowded lanes wasting your holiday in traffic queues. It's also a 10 minute walk to the undiscovered gem of a beach at Polstreath. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and has all the amenities you'd need including an excellent shower. William left shortbread, Prosecco and dog treats which were a nice touch. It's nothing like as luxurious as many of the air bnb's we've stayed in but that's reflected in the price. And, as such, is really good value. There's no parking but you can unload right outside the front door. We got a pass to the Willow Car Park - 3 minutes walk away - for £24 Friday to Monday. Really easy. The house was a bit musty when we arrived but the dehumidifiers worked well and with the windows open it abated. We went in April so it may well have been empty for a while before.

Fantastic location for walking to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Locals are really friendly and helpful. Property is homely, great facilities and provided everything we needed for a great holiday!
