we had so much fun! The location is perfect for all over the main island, easy drive to Lerwick and not far to drive to Sumburgh. we bought mussels and scallops at a farm right near the house. The hostess is right across the street where she operates a B&B. Drop in on her, ask questions and have a cuppa!

Our 2nd stay at Musadale, which is a lovely, spacious bungalow with excellent facilities. The property was spotlessly clean. The surrounding countryside is very peaceful and the bungalow is located on the A970, so east to access.

Marina could not have been more friendly or accommodating. She met us with a cup of tea, home baking and a low down on the area and what to do - Hams of Roe walk, getting to Unst, fish and chips (telephone Frankies - it's worth it) and where to buy fresh mussels and scallops. We were moved into a chalet at the last minute because Marina's mum was not well. This was fine and we were offered alternative accommodation instead. We also had a price reduction. The chalet was compact but very clean. It doesn't have the best of views but don't let this put you off. And Brae is a great location from which to explore the island.

We were there for job. It was a perfect place ! We had the feeling that someone lived there permanently before us because the house is perfectly equiped. It's like home !!!! A great thanks to marina for her help and communication !! The place is amazing ! Thanks to Helene for her welcome and the tea and fabulous cakes !!!!
