Beautiful place, amazing location if you don’t mind walking 850 steps to Amalfi or 400 steps up to Pogerola. View is absolutely amazing. We loved the exercise. The grass was over grown, we stayed two weeks, we’re promised it would be cut in first 2 days - grass never cut. There was no linen for the pullout couch and the cover smelled. We asked for linen and the response received was a laughing emoji. When asked for clarification, response was haha. No linen provided. We were offended by such a response. However we would stay there again as the view was amazing and the place was great for 2 people, would be crowded for more than 2. The outside could use some up-keeping. Thank you for the stay. We enjoyed ourselves. Amalfi is amazing. The Italian people are great. The hikes/walks beautiful and great workouts. The food is delicious. We would recommend this place and we would stay there again.

Francesco and Walter were a big help during our stay with suggestions and helping get to the remote house and back to the ferry on departure. The house is so peaceful and beautifully situated with a spectacular view of Amalfi down the hill and the Mediterranean in the foreground. AC worked well during a hot week. Washing machine was useful for the light packing and clothes we brought. There are a lot of stairs, but with a little planning, they become worth the tremendous view and comfort of the home. My wife and I loved the little village of Pogerola . Great restaurants as Crispoli's, and the Cocktail Bar with very friendly staff. The bus down the hill works to get to and from Amalfi. We just hung out at the house for two days because it was so beautiful and peaceful. We hope to go back in the future.

THE VIEW!! Is worth the stairs. You’ll be stuck in awe when you watch the sunrise and sunset over the town of Amalfi, even just watching the town and boats during the day! Great spot the stairs up to the car park around 300 and then 400 more up to the village of Pogerola with a mini mart and great restaurants! Only did the 900 stairs down the town once but was pretty reasonable.

Thé home of Donato is great. It has an amazing view of Naples Bay Area. Francisco who is taking care of the house is amazingly helpful and has been great to help us during all the stay. Stairs are definitely not a joke , it is ok to get down but really hard up. That would be my only down site point. The home is very tastefully decorated and well designed. . We had a great stay !

Beautiful place with gorgeous view over Amalfi coast. It has everything we need. It is such a peaceful location. Host is friendly, helpful and easy communicate. We recommend Donato’s place 100%.
