As accurately described this cabin is a simple rustic get away. No frills and everything necessary for a respite from outdoor adventuring. Surrounding area is beautiful with access to unlimited Wasatch National Forrest activities and only 29 miles to Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake Hwy runs alongside the cabin - on the holiday weekend there was traffic and it died down in the early evening. Kamas is about 3 miles away for easy access to necessities and the local pizza place is delish! I was happy we brought our own water - the high mineral content in the cabin water was fine for washing of dishes and people — not necessarily drinking. Colin had stocked the fridge with water and ice to get started.

Our stay was definitely rustic, the host provided everything that we needed and was very quick to respond when I had questions. I also loved the way that he was willing to help us find great places to hike around and check out while we were staying in his cabin.
