I will absolutely be staying here again. Sherry was an amazing host. She met me at the door and showed me around and made me feel right at home. It was so beautiful and peaceful there. If I could have stayed longer I would have. Highly recommend her place for a get away. Can’t wait to stay there again sometime this summer. Thank you for everything Sherry

Sherry and her beautiful family were absolutely amazing. I stayed for many months and could not have asked for a better place to stay, the property is a pristine piece of Iowa that you would never expect within Council Bluffs. It’s a very special place, photos don’t do it Justice!! Sherry was above and beyond in all aspects of the stay, extremely responsive, and helpful in every way. I truly felt like family, and look to them as family now, as well. The lake is absolutely stunning with plenty of catch and release fishing and wildlife in every corner! The guest house is more than accommodating for any need, very comfortable and cozy. I’ve never felt at home on the road as I had here! Truly incredible!! Long term or short term travelers both will absolutely love this place! Blessed to have been able to visit and stay as long as I did, seeing all 4 seasons. Can’t go wrong with any of them!

Fantastic place, and beautiful location! The place was very clean and had all the little extras to make our stay perfect. They went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way.

What a perfect stay this was! My husband and son stayed at this property while visiting for a travel ball tournament and college World Series. Sherry communicated well with me in the planning phases, I knew the trip would be good. But, it was amazing for them! Sherry was so hospitable and welcoming. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything they could need for a seven night stay including a washer and dryer so my husband could wash baseball uniforms. Our son caught so many fish in the lake and came home with many stories to tell. Sherry and her family welcomed them to dinner. The adults all visited and the kids had fun playing. They made my family feel like they were family. This experience was like one from a movie. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay! If we find ourselves in Omaha, we would be grateful to get to stay again.
