My girlfriend and I stayed here for the total eclipse and it was wonderful. Remote enough to feel secluded. Benita was very nice and available for anything we needed, but everything was great so we didn’t need anything.

We were late getting in town. Called to let Ms Benita know and she had it open and ready for us. very sweet. Came out to meet us. Area is beautiful and quiet. Roads are nice but kinda difficult if you are on a motorcycle. Other drivers don't care that live on that street and drive it. Getaway was beautiful. Bed was omg perfect. I've never fallen asleep so fast. The heater perfect. The hot water smell can throw you off a bit but when you are in the hills you know it comes with the area. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely look at renting again if we are in the area again. Thank you so much!!! Oh by the way, I put the coffee in the freezer to stay fresh.

The hosts were nice and very helpful but also respected my privacy. The location is very scenic and amazing if you like peace and quiet, I enjoyed being there as a writing retreat and got a lot done. I would strongly recommend that you get an AT&T Sim Card because most cell phone carriers won't work in rural areas in the Hill Country (not just there). No complaints, if you like being out in the country you'll enjoy staying there.

Benita’s place was secluded on 11 acres. In early morning I saw deer outside and horses from the next property. Alot of nature surrounded this private oasis. It was homey inside, queen bed was very comfortable. I loved there was an easy chair, desk, WIFi, clean bathroom with shower. Kitchen had full size refrig. It was about 20 minutes to go into downtown Bandera with tons of quaint shops and such character. I felt it was a reasonable price. You can see the stars and theres a sitting area outside. Nice open cabin with charm.

Great little place to stay. owners where very flexible with check-in times. We were in and out very early in the mornings and came in late in the evenings with no issues from anyone. I would defiantly stay here again.
