This is a perfect place to stay, and Susan is the best host ever. The information about this place is very accurate. It is very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Susan even had baked us a delicious cake that welcomed us when we arrived, along with a nice bottle of wine. We loved to relax in the jacuzzi after a nice day outside. We also enjoyed the many games she had. The dogs are so friendly and wonderful, we miss them already. We for sure will come back one day.
We had a wonderful stay here! The house is comfortable with everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with lots of supplies. Susan made us a delicious blueberry crumble and even left a bottle of wine! Plenty of movies available and lots of space to spread out. The hot tub was nice and relaxing after a day exploring the rainforest. The view from the house was incredible! The sunrises were so colorful. We saw lots of hummingbirds at the feeder. We felt like we were in a remote location but were only a few minutes from town. Beaches and rainforests are 2-3 hours away. Having Susan's dog visit us was a treat as the kids missed our dogs during the trip. We would definitely stay here again.
Susan was an extremely hospitable host who made us feel right at home. The house was spotless and instructions were clear. The NE view was INCREDIBLE.
Susan was the quintessential Airbnb host! From the moment we walked in, it was obvious how much she cares about her guests having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. She provided our first morning's breakfast, including a homemade coffee cake. She also bought a basketball for the house after our son inquired about one (after spotting the hoop on the garage). The house itself is spacious, extremely clean, and has so many amenities to make you feel at home. Our family had such a wonderful stay, and we hope to come back again someday!
From the cold wine to the warm cobbler the welcome was wonderful! Beautifully decorated and generous amenities. Hot tub was fantastic.

I have traveled often. I have felt the fear of being far from home. Likewise, I have deeply appreciated the safe harbors along the way. There, I found warmth, comfort, information and rest. I am soooo thrilled to be able to pass this on to our Olympic Peninsula travelers. We live at the top of the Olympic Mountains with an amazing 5 acre parcel and a view that spans from the Cascade mountain range to the San Juan Islands to the Eastern tip of Vancouver Island. We are quiet up here except for the occasional dog bark and passing car on the private gravel road. For more than 15 years, my husband has sailed on car ferry to Victoria Harbor, the Coho. Prior to fish price downturns, he crabbed on the Bering Sea and ran his own commercial salmon operation in those same waters. I am an aspiring writer. But mainly, I enjoy my home, my family, my cats and aussie shepherd, my garden and my friends. Our home has been so good and comfortable for us. We are excited to share it with you this summer!
