The Rustic Wood Casitas are designed and built with an open planned Caribbean vibe. Casa Del Mar -- is actually 2 seperate small houses. One casita is equiped with a double bed, 2 single beds and a roll out bed with a maximum of 5 people and the other casita has two double beds, a single bed and a roll out bed with a maximum of 6 people. Each has its own private kitchen and facilities and you do not share anything. We now have Fiber Optic WIFI. You can seperate rooms in the casita to make 2 bedrooms but they are not complete seperate rooms with seperate entrances. If you want to completely private rooms it is best to rent both casitas. Each casita has a spacious kitchen with all utensils, pots and pans, plates and glasses, gas stove, blender, coffee maker, toaster etc, safe, Fiber Optic WIFI, a balcony with table, chairs and hammocks with views of the beach, a private bbq in the garden and a herb and fruit garden. The rustic casitas are made of local wood in a caribbean style designed for airflow. Decorated with a wood Caribbean beach garden theme with local art and home made pieces. Encased in the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge there is much to explore. You can either do allot in Manzanillo or do allot doing nothing at all; but strolling along the beach and rocking in your hammock. For those adventurous spirits you have great snorkeling in front of Casa Del Mar, hiking in Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, Sea Kayaking, bird watching, dolphin tours, bike riding, horse back riding beach and jungle, animal rescue centres, beach bumming, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, is not far from other towns for day visits in indigenous communities, waterfalls and national parks. The town is a small fishing village & does not attract the tourist hype of Puerto Viejo 13.5km away. Although is a favourite for Costa Rican during Samana Santa, weekends and holiday periods.
