We had a great stay at Jonah’s place, it was very convenient to get to, everything was clean and it’s very open and roomy. Big open kitchen that was well stocked. Jonah was very kind and helpful, he was able to let us check in a bit early so we could change for the wedding we were going to which was really helpful.

Jonah was an amazing host and welcomed us into his beautiful home. He was proactive and responsive as well! The place was nice, cozy, and relaxing, not to mention it exactly like the pictures provided. The sulfur smell in the water was a bit hard to get used to. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay for our little weekend getaway!

I reserved this place during the weekend of my boyfriend's birthday and also asked for the birthday package. Jonah was more than responsive to help me with choosing the cake, communicating with the bakery to check the design and flavour they could do, and picking up the cake. We entered the villa with the cake on top of the counter, which was nice, and surprised my boyfriend :) I give Jonah 5 stars for this. The thing I didn't like about the place very much was that it wasn't as clean as I expected it would be. I think the place is in need of a "deep cleaning", especially in the bathroom and kitchen. We found stains in the bathroom, used toothbrushes and personal stuff in the drawers, and stains and small hair in the fridge. P.S. Some people mentioned in the comments that the water smells like sulphur. Fortunately, we didn't have that problem.

Jonah was an excellent host and we had a great stay! The home is exactly as described and the amenities are great. It’s a cozy spot conveniently located to everything around Nanaimo. We would definitely stay again!
