Good stay with Simon and Charlotte on their farm near Lampeter. would go back if in the area again.
Our trip was needed due to a family emergency. Simon and Charlotte were amazing, so accommodating and yet respectful. They maintained dialogue throughout our journey to the property and helped with food and drink. We arrived very late but they were not worried and they offered a later checkout without concern, taking a lot of pressure off of us. They could not do any more to support us. They were so flexible. The cottage was lovely, pristine and spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything you would need for a short break or longer holiday. It is in a lovely location, quiet and peaceful yet really close to all required amenities. It was a shame that we didn't get the time to enjoy everything the cottage had to offer but when we are in the area in future this will definitely be our first choice for accommodation.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage which feels like home from home. Comfortable beds, lovely shower, well equipped kitchen, spacious living area ... and all spotlessly clean! This cottage is set in a very peaceful area. Thank you Simon for making our time in your cottage so pleasant and relaxing.
A lovely, very spacious, home from home set in lovely quiet surroundings. My 8 year old loved feeding the chickens and seeing the lambs. Simon and Charlotte were both really helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend a stay here 😊

Nestled in the valleys of Lampeter, is Y Beudy (The Cow Shed) , a home from home self contained accommodation. A quiet rural retreat, comprising of a new start-up smallholding and equestrian home. A single level bungalow, with fully disabled access Y Beudy provides a private, holiday home, set within the owners farm. Y Beudy is served by renewable energy, as heating is provided by an air source heater and hot water is heated and maintained by a solar panel. Wifi access is available in every room. Local organic shops can provide a variety of dietary requirements. Located just under a mile from Lampeter university town, there are many local shops and amenities. There are many places to visit, in any direction. as well as a 20 minute drive to the harbour town of Aberearon and a picturesque 40 minute drive to Aberystwyth. Lampeter is a lovely location to access to Brechfa forest for hikes, mountain biking and horse riding, in any season. Still following COVID guidelines, the property is deep cleaned before each guest visit. As this is our home, there are two friendly dogs and three large horses and we ask guests to bear this in mind when visiting. The dogs are often lose on the property and respond well to friendliness, however, if you require us to put them in on your arrival, please do let us know.
