A private slice of paradise. This hotel is run by a very kind family that waited on us hand and foot. The jungle garden in the middle is a joy to hike and the zip lines were a blast!

Everything was amazing, the family that runs the place was very accommodating. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was authentic and delicious and the zip line was truly a treat! We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to this beautiful country!

We came in the off season, therefore this is a review based on the time we stayed. We were the only people staying on the property at this time so expectations may not be the same as in the high season. The listing and photos definitely could use updating as seems the photos are a few or more years old. The bed was very comfy, air conditioning worked, there was hot water for the shower and the view to the jungle was great. Wifi was quite fast and reliable. We had one big spider in our room, other than that we didn't have much of a bug issue. But hey, it's the jungle! The zip line is definitely not active or has not been for a few years, it should be removed from the listing. The paths thru the jungle are there but have not been fully maintained. The pools seemed ok, however we didn't use them due to it raining when we were there and it being a bit colder. The pools lose the sun in the early afternoon. The bar was completely closed, the restaurant was not fully active, however we could order food from 8am until 5:30pm. The food was great, the breakfast was complimentary which was a plus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and served us out near the pool. The hours were only a problem as for dinner they are not open and as there is not much to walk to if you don't have a car. There is a Texaco across the street where you can get drinks, sandwiches and snacks. If you want dinner you will need a car and be able to drive to Santa Ana or the lake to one of the tourist restaurants. The host Sandra is very responsive and does speak English but is not always at the property, otherwise the rest of the staff on site speaks Spanish.

This place is very pretty, it’s close to the city center but the greenery makes you feel like you’re in the jungle. They treated us like family, very friendly and took great care of us during our stay. Gracias!!!
