The room was really cozy and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast served was also very good. The host was really nice and gave us clear indications on how to find the house. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting the l’Anse aux Meadows historical site since it is also very nearby :)

We were very comfortable at Thelma’s place. She gave excellent instructions on how to find her place, especially since we were arriving after dark. She met us when we arrived and showed us our room and bathroom which were both spotless. We had a very tasty breakfast in the morning before we went on our way. She was very friendly but also professional! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thelma’s. Perfect location if you are visiting L’Anse Meadows. Thelma is very welcoming and the breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade bread! Two beautiful hikes you can do in hay Cove, also.

We chose Thelma’s place because it is less than a 5-minute drive to both L’Anse aux Meadows and Norstead. When she rapidly answered our logistical questions we were happy we chose to stay with her. Then, she had a family emergency which called her away. Other people might have cancelled us, but instead, she made arrangements with the next door neighbors Grace and Cecil to host us. So fortunate for us, Thelma’s B&B is next door to Merlin’s B&B, and Grace and Cecil are generous and experienced hosts. We did not get a chance to meet Thelma, but we can recommend her for prompt, helpful replies and kindly making new arrangements for us. Thank you Thelma, sorry we didn’t meet you, but we had an exceptional stay with Grace and Cecil.

We were looked after a very well with a wonderful breakfast. The area we stayed in was wonderful, and there was a nice trail to walk along the shore.
