These are very, very nice people, who make you feel welcomed, and who go out of their way to ensure your comfort. Kind of like staying at your grandparents' country home. The lower level apartment consists of 2 large bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, and bathroom - with access to a shared space for laundry. There is no living room, however the bedrooms are large enough that we felt quite comfortable - the larger bedroom has a big couch. The location is about 20 miles down a good dirt/gravel road, which takes about 30 minutes to cover. (You can safely do around 40-45 mph, and in summer you dont need AWD.) You can make use of the location with a visit to nearby Aldeyjarfoss, a beautiful and unusual waterfall.

Lovely immaculately clean apartment with lots of space including a full kitchen. The hosts were very responsive to inquiries and allowed us to use their washing machine to clean some clothes. The apartment is located within the hosts home but we had a lock to the door and felt very comfortable.

this is flat in a farmstead with definite rural experience not your typical holiday home. beautiful and quiet location some 31km south of Godafoss. otherwise as described. friendly host.

We loved the place, the location, the drive and the hosts. The hosts are very kind and most wonderful people. They live in the house upstairs. Location is excellent, just off ring road from Godafoss and a 30 min beautiful drive all along the river. Highly recommend staying here
