My family that stayed with me, live in downtown Philadelphia. They were SO grateful for this peaceful spot to unwind for a few days! I too enjoyed sitting out on the deck, taking in the peace and serenity of the bayou! We only wished we had had MORE time to spend there! Mostly our time was with a family gathering at Fontainebleau State Park. The little historic fishing cabin on the deck over the water, was of interest to us all: so quaint: we wondered about its history! COOL SPOT in Lacombe!

The place was great. Our dogs were in heaven and my kids loved fishing. The place was perfect for us.

Very peaceful and unique property. We lived sitting on the porch. The house is literally next to the waterway.

Very nice home along the water canal. Felt like home, and was very private with a powered gate at the driveway. I would definitely stay there again.

We LOVED our stay here! It was the perfect, peaceful spot during our holiday home to visit family! The home was clean and cozy. We loved the fishing and access to the water! The property is well maintained and felt like we were in a little retreat place. We will def be back next year when we visit family!
