The house and dock were great! House was clean, had everything we could ever need in the kitchen(always important to us). Comfy beds, great areas to relax. Obvious that great thought and care was taken to make this a wonderful vacation property. Spent time out on the dock fishing. Fish weren’t biting, but dock area was great. Took the pontoon out- it ran great, was easy to use. The lake is really big; not a lot of boats out, so we’re able to explore the lake without worrying.

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve's cabin! We rented the pontoon boat for a day on the lake and didn't have to go far to find a local beach connected to a park where the kids could swim and play. The location itself was ideal for fishing right off of the dock - caught several crappie (the kids loved this!) and seemed peaceful/private. Amenities were nice - everything you could need was there. We ordered Papa Murphey's take n bake pizzas for the first night while driving through Rice Lake on our way to the cabin and grilled out another night. We found a local splash pad for the kids to play at and afterwards, we bought sandwiches from Cheese Louise (a great little sandwich shop) to eat at the brewery next door - Agonic. The trails nearby were also a nice hiking option - with plenty of bug spray, we could have hiked there all day!

Very nice! Comfortable beds. A lot of room and great views of the water. The hot fishing spot is about 100 feet out from the dock
