The Ice Jam Inn was the perfect getaway for our solar eclipse weekend! We had a large group and everyone loved their cozy bedrooms. Having our own place with a pool table, darts and chess was so much fun. The bathrooms were spotless which is extremely important to me. Also, having such a great restaurant right on the premises was so convenient! All the restaurant staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! It only took us 25 minutes to get to the town of Lake Placid and it's walking distance to the Adirondack Cafe which was great for breakfast. I had concerns about a snowstorm that happened the day before we arrived, but Tammy kindly kept in touch with me to let me know that the roads were clear. In fact everything around the premises outside was all shoveled! I highly recommend the Ice Jam Inn!

Everyone enjoyed their stay and the rooms that they were in. We spent the afternoon on the porch after our hike, dined at the Inn that evening with great food from Chef Zach and attentive service from his crew. Later that night we enjoyed playing billiards and relaxing on the front porch once again. The weather was perfect so it made for a great weekend.

Fantastic space! Well appointed and very comfortable (especially the beds), with porch access to one of the best restaurants in the region while being close to great hiking as well. Peaceful and perfect!

We had a great stay at the Ice Jam Inn. The 15-minute drive to the AMR parking lot made it convenient for our hiking trip. The Inn is beautiful with a variety of games (pool, chess, poker and more) and an excellent restaurant. It was a great place to stay for the weekend.

Tammy responds very quickly to messages and the Inn is wonderfully quirky.
