Our apartment is very central to all the bars, restaurants and shops as we are one minute from the main road by foot. The beach is 2 minutes walk and there is usually parking available close to the apartment on the road.
Located on the headland at the sandy beach is the wonderful site of Ancient Asini (or Assini or Asine) which has recently added a digital presentation taking you back 2000 years and the site is marked with plenty of signs. The view from the top is spectacular.
Tolo beach is an organised beach and as such there are tavernas and cafe/bar along the seafront. There are water sports, pedaloes and motor boat hire available. The islands if Romvi, Daskaleio and Koronisi in the bay are all charming islands and worth taking the time to visit.

Everything in Tolo is within walking distance, the harbour is at the very end of the village and will take you around 15 minutes and the sandy beach at the beginning of Tolo about the same time. There is a local bus service to and from Nafplion mostly every hour from early morning through to the evening. We will be pleased to arrange transport for you from/to the airport or recommend car hire for you.
There are many walking routes for those keen on hiking or just a good walk. The Spring and Autumn months are perfect for this and we can let you know some great routes.
Tolo is a great base from which to visit the wonderful sites of the Peloponnese. Nafplion, the first capital of Greece is just 10 minutes away by car and is well worth a visit during your stay. The sites of Ancient Mycenae and the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros are just less than half an hour by car (although in different directions). Other sites within an hour from Tolo are Ancient Nemea, Ancient Corinthos, Akrokorinthos, the Corinth canal, Kefalari Cave church, the pyramid at Ellinikon and many more.
The are day cruises that depart from Tolo harbour regularly to the islands of Hydra & Spetses.
