We had a super stay at The Inn at Hampden-Sydney. The house is really a gem, and the kitchen a delight to cook in! We all remarked at how cute and unique the house was and the property was super private and quiet! To be honest I was a little "concerned" when they said they allowed pets, but based on other reviews of how clean the place was we took a chance. We could not have been more pleased with our choice; the house was so very clean...no evidence that any pets had ever been in the home. Kira and Jerry were super responsive to even the dumbest of our questions! The location is perfect for visiting Farmville for whatever reason. We would definitely book this place again when in Farmville again.

I don’t know where to start, did you ever walk into a home and say I wish this was mine! Those were the words out of our mouths after walking thru the cabin when arriving. Clean, perfect setting. Then we hiked the property with our dog, well groomed trails, nice stream. You couldn’t ask for any more. Kira did a great job of making us feel at home. I highly recommend staying in this magnificent cabin!

If you love peace, harmony and nature. This is the place. This is our second time staying here to visit our boys at HSC and I hope it is not our last. So close!! Great kitchen, well stocked.

One of my favorite stays. The property is extremely private, peaceful, and beautiful. perfect stay for getting away, unplugging, and connecting with nature. The beds are particular comfortable and furniture is quality (no rickety bedframes). I most enjoyed the full kitchen to cook in, bathtub with a view, and the firepit to enjoy while watching the dog run free. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful woods, full of lots of Flora and Fana and Wildlife… Kira and Jerry were friendly and responsive… lovely quiet, place to write study or read… great get away from it all…
