We loved this house. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. The hosts were particularly thoughtful and included really nice touches like age-appropriate toys for our kids. They were also extremely responsive. Beautiful house in a beautiful location, really quick drive to swimming at Robert Treman state park or Buttermilk falls.

Carol was a fantastic host! My friends and I decided to stay at her home to attend the races at Watkins Glen (the house is an easy 25-30 min ride away from the track). The house has a very private countryside feel while conveniently located near Downtown Ithaca, which has many grocery/department stores/restaurants/etc... The house also has a very homey feel with many amenities. My friends and I felt very comfortable, and we loved this home! The pool was a much-needed cool down since it was around 90 degrees when we stayed. We had a fantastic time visiting Watkins Glen! If you decide to stay here, ask Carol for suggestions about places of interest!

Five star stay all around! Carol went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as nice and comfortable as possible. We have stayed at many places and can honestly say this was one of the best. She left more than enough household supplies for us to use, plenty of bottles of water and snacks, and even a gift basket for the kids! She was always very responsive if we had questions both before and during our stay. We cannot say enough good things about the house and Carol’s amazing hospitality. Would highly recommend!!

Wow, I would stay here over and over again! Carol's home is truly lovely — plenty of space for my parents, two adult siblings, and our partners for a long weekend. The home is immaculately clean — including the spotless hot tub and pool. Thoughtful touches at check-in included bottled water (it was a hot weekend), fresh flowers, cheese, and fruit. The fire pit was stocked and made up for us, the grill was excellent, and we even were welcomed to enjoy produce from the organic garden! The kitchen is outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment, and the adjoining deck with shade and a fan was the ideal spot to spend relaxing afternoons. The home strikes the perfect balance of a personable family home and hospitality-focused vacation rental. We greatly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, hiking the Upper Buttermilk Falls (within easy walking distance), and nearby Ithaca Beer Company.
