We had an amazing stay at Katherine’s gorgeous property! Her home is just beautiful, with large open windows and views of the river. The beds in each room were so comfortable, with linens that felt like sleeping in a cloud. It was a little chilly/drizzly but so cozy inside with fire and great heating. Had some time to hang out on the dock and fish. We saw deer, a moose, marmots and beautiful birds. Can’t wait to come back in the Summer to enjoy the water. Katherine was just lovely, met us at check-in and told us about the house, she was immediately responsive when we had questions and a perfect host. It was an amazing setting for our family to spend time with our son who’s at Gonzaga. Thank you, Katherine!

Five days with my family in this home-away-from-home was the perfect getaway for Christmas! Katherine was a wonderful host and even added more Christmas decorations for us! We felt right at home and couldn’t ask for better accommodations with our two kids and my parents. Two big primary suites, pack and play, play room, high chair were all bonuses!! The VIEW/SUNRISE is the show stopper at this property. I’ll definitely miss it!

This is a hard review to write because some things I really liked about our stay, but dealing with Katherine at the end left an unsettling and negative feeling about our stay. On a positive note, we loved the view of the lake and the house was cozy. After about two hours in the house we nick named the house, “The Land of not Quite Right.” There weren’t enough bath towels, the WiFi didn’t work (we had to run into town to get work done), Ethernet cable only worked on one TV, the master bath had a strong mildew smell, etc. But, the zinger at the end of our trip was when we were at the airport ready to leave and Katherine sent me a picture of some small spec of a malformation of the shower floor and said we “damaged” the floor of her shower. Literally crazy because how someone without clothes on and only shampoo and soap can “damage” a shower floor is beyond me. Anyways, her accusatory, curt, and rude text back and forth to me was the worst part of the trip.

This is a place so wonderfully beautiful, you have to see it for yourself to believe it. The photos do not do it justice. The house is cozy and comfortable with all the furnishings to make you feel right at home. Additionally, Katherine is an extremely pleasant host to work with. Our interactions added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Highly recommend. Pro tip: wake up for at least one sunrise during your trip and watch them from the dock - they were truly magical
