The Peniche apartment is cozy, airy and bright, it is fully equipped for a safe and pleasant stay. It is centrally located yet very quiet, you can easily walk to the beach, restaurants & markets. The apartment is on 2nd floor and faces west offering an open view of beautiful sunsets, there are lots of street parking in front or in back of building. Peniche is a quaint fishing town and very central in Portugal. It is approximately 1:30h by bus from Lisbon and 1h by car from airport. 97114/AL The apartment and all items of common use will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before your arrival, as your safety and health is of our utmost concern. Knowing that, you can peacefully enjoy your stay. Enjoy a happy hour on the varanda watching the beautiful sunset and the seagulls flying by or soak in the deep tub after a long day of exploration.

Stayed in Nilma’s place for one entire month and we absolutely loved it. It was super clean, it has everything you need and it is really comfortable. We felt like at home. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. We stayed in the apartment for 6 weeks to work remote and surf. The wifi was really good and there is enough space to work. Communication with Ana and Nilma was super good en quick! Would definitely recommend this apartment for long stays.

Espaço muito agradável no segundo andar com elevador o que facilita em muito, um apartamento com muito bom aspecto, e uma decoração bonita, cozinha bem equipada com vários utensílios de cozinha, quarto impecável, cama e colchão ótimos, sala com um sofá confortável e mesa de refeições. Varanda espaçosa. Próximo de supermercados, restaurantes, pastelarias, próximo também do centro de Peniche e das praias. Experiência super agradável e a repetir num futuro. Gostamos bastante.

Praia do Portinho da Areia do Sul is just down the road, great for relaxing, sunbathing and safe for swimming, please note that there is no lifeguard.
Celeiro Café serves healthy and delicious meals a walk away from us.
Just next door, there is a little café that serves beverages and snacks, you may also purchase bread in the mornings.
You can buy fresh produce at the Municipal Market from 8am to 12pm daily.
Don’t miss the Lace Museum, Resistance and Freedom Museum and the Berlengas tour.
The sunsets from Cabo Carvoeiro light house are amazing.
The little Sanctuary of Nsa Sra dos Remédios is very special too, the inside is lined in beautiful Portuguese tiles.

Within our Peniche walls you have everything you need a short walk away.
Coming from Lisbon by bus, ask the driver to let you out in center of town, we are 750m from bus stop.
Leaving Peniche, you must go to bus station which is just outside of the Peniche walls.
Taxis to and from the bus station in Peniche cost between 5 and 10 Euros.
There are lots of bike rental places along the Praia da Gamboa stretch.

I am a Jewelry artist, married to a surfer and love traveling, in special through Europe. You will see my appreciation for travel in the photos on the walls of the apartment. Each photo was taken by me over the years. My husband and I chose Peniche as our 2nd home because of it’s location, with lots of surf for him and a quaint city with wonderful food and easily accessible by bus from Lisbon. We love the climate here in spring and fall when we stay. I have worked in a resort for 12 years which has given me experience in service and appreciation for travel and diverse cultures. Although I have hotel benefits, I prefer using Airbnb, when with my husband we love the privacy of an entire place and when by myself, I enjoy a room in private homes where I successfully make wonderful lasting friendships.
