Saverio et Lidia sont des hôtes accueillants et très chaleureux. Nous sommes arrivés en avance et avons pu déposer nos bagages bien avant l’heure et nous reposer un peu pendant que le logement était en préparation. Un livret détaille les adresses utiles et nous avons même reçu une bouteille de chianti en cadeau . Le checkout est très simple et là aussi nous avons pu rester jusqu’au départ pour l’aéroport en fin de journée. Seules la rue est bruyante le soir mais cela est décrit dans l’annonce et ne nous a pas empêché de dormir. Enfin l’adresse est idéale car on a fait toutes les visites à pied. Saverio's place is exactly as the listing describes. Everything is within walking distance and it's positioned right next to the Ponte Vecchio. Our stay was exactly what all Airbnb experiences should be like. Saverio and his wife met us at the apartment, showed us through and made sure we knew how to operate everything. They had a great manual which also had instructions for local restaurants (even with different price brackets), supermarkets and more. We stayed for about 4 nights across New Years Eve and as to be expected there was some noise from the street as has been mentioned in other reviews. Bring some earplugs if you feel that might bother you as this is such a great place to stay and explore Florence. Saverio's place will be at the top of my list if we visit again. This isn't some corporate run apartment, this is the type of stay that Airbnb should be all about. Loved it.

This location was fabulous - right near Ponte Vecchio which was the outlet to the city of Firenze on both sides of the river. Very close to Uffizi Gallery, walkable along the river to Piazzale Michelangelo for a beautiful view of Firenze. Santa Croce area is about a 15-20 minute walk. We walked pretty much everywhere up to 30 minutes to busses for winery tour just beyond Santa Maria Novella train station. Location felt safe, well lit with all amenities within minutes. Saverio was an excellent host and extremely responsive. They came to change our sheets and towels as we had close to a two week stay - nice touch. Used washing machine and dishwasher without a problem. Saverio booked our taxi for very early morning flight. Highly recommend!

Saverio’s apartment was exactly as described. The location was perfect for walking anywhere you wanted to go downtown Florence. The apartment is located on a very busy street with many restaurants and shops. We experienced an unfortunate event during our stay that shortened our stay and Saverio helped and handle our situation with much integrity. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and know that you will be taken care of.
