Amazing place. Great location. The backyard is wow !! Only one thing to: it should be in the description somewhere that the WiFi is very weak, most of the time non existant.

This was our 4th year spending 6-7 days at this house, and it was wonderful as usual. This year was special, as we had an almost 4-month old (first grandchild). My wife and I share the house each year with our adult sons and their wives, and the house is perfectly laid out to make it easy for all of us to share the big open space, or to have privacy in our good-sized bedrooms, two of which are en-suite (there's one half-bath in addition). Everywhere in the house are big windows which bring the woods, stream and hillside into the experience of the house. We did some snowshoeing on the property and took daily hikes, some nearby at Reel Brook, some at Cooley-Jericho and Lonesome Lake. Skiing at Loon was 30 minutes away, Cannon 15 minutes. It's a beautiful house in a beautiful area.

We spent Christmas in Franconia and Lou’s house was perfect. The detailed instructions and local recommendations were so helpful throughout the weekend. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures, and very well equipped. The location is quiet and secluded , but close enough to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at the Adair Inn and found great local breweries. It was a wonderful family holiday…Lou’s house is a 10 out of 10.

This place was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend away from the city. Felt like home, rooms are big, fire place made it feel cozy . The river on the back it’s a great view and the whole place was spotless, Lou it’s a great host. Definitely recommend it!

My family of five (7, 5 and 3 year old) had an amazing trip to New Hampshire and staying at Lou’s was one of the highlights. It is so peaceful at the house and private. My kids loved running around the property and exploring and the chairs in the backyard were perfect for relaxing and keeping an eye on the kids. The living room and dining room were so spacious and great for us to spread out and play games. I have a feeling we’ll definitely be back!
