We had a fantastic stay at Mermaid Villa. Jan was on property and very responsive whenever we had any questions. The view was spectacular and The beach was beautiful. Our Villa was supplied with everything that we needed including towels, linens, kitchen supplies, Beach supplies, and a grill. We had rented a vehicle for our stay which I would highly recommend. It is about a 40 minute drive to the west end of the island and about 20 minutes to the larger Riteway grocery store by Road town. You are very close to the airport and Beef Island ferry. There are many restaurants near Trellis bay as well. Jan is a wealth of information and can help steer you in any direction. We are hoping to return with our adult children in the future.

The view is spectacular and better to see in person. We drove around to most of the Tortola island beaches but loved the local Long Beach on Beef Island down the hill from Mermaid the best. We brought the free beach umbrella, beach chairs & cooler provided by host and were all set for the beach everyday. Kitchen well-equipped, good speed wifi, 2 big bedrooms, spacious shower & bathroom, lots of linens/ beach towels, parking, pool, owner Jan lives at opposite end of property so available on-site but rental property / 2 ocean view balconies / covered pool deck are all private. We enjoyed our 9 nights.
