Lisa and Terry were excellent hosts and responded to our inquiries quickly and assisted us when needed. The cabin is great and cozy, we had 4 people in there and there was enough space for all of us, a larger group might have been a little extra cozy (it was cold out so we spent most of our time there inside) but as long as you all get along that shouldn't be a problem. The location was close to lots of hiking options, Lincoln State/National parks are ~30 minutes, as is Merango Cave, Hemlock Cliffs, Ferdinand, and obviously Patoka lake has tons of hiking and outdoor options. The standout for us was the hot tub which is exactly what we needed after spending all day on our feet! The driveway was pretty steep so if you're pulling a trailer or visiting in inclimate weather make sure you've got all/4 wheel drive.

This was our second stay at this place. We enjoyed our first stay so much we decided to go back without looking at other options. It's clean, quiet and safe.
