We stayed for almost a week at Karen’s place and loved it! The farmhouse has a lot of character and it’s in a peaceful setting next to a river. We spent our evenings in the meadow - the kids loved running about and we enjoyed barbecuing and eating outdoors. The cottage is in a great location, it’s only a 15min drive to Aberporth which has a gorgeous beach. We followed Karen’s recommendations and went to the Lime Crab in New Quay which was excellent. We also had a lovely morning at Llanerchaeron NT. We would also highly recommend getting some steak from the Dexter beef farm along the main road to Cardigan. Great value for money and excellent communication - we would definitely stay again!

This is a unique and tranquil place. The riverside location and outdoor spaces provided wonderful opportunity for wildlife-watching. The house is every bit the rustic retreat that Karen decribed. A former mill, its history is almost palpable, augmented by a quirky, vintage-decor style. A really interesting place! But it's also very cosy and has everything necessary to facilitate a comfortable stay. Karen is a brilliant communicator and we were made to feel very welcome from first point of contact, until our stay ended. The best Airbnb we've stayed in so far.

We absolutely loved staying at Karen's! Karen was very communicative and her clear directions helped us find the cottage very easily. Check in was smooth and easy. Great location - peaceful and beautiful, and so lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of running water. But also within about 15 /20 mins easy driving of Cardigan, as well as some absolutely gorgeous beaches like Poppit Sands and Tresaith. The National Wool Museum is also within close driving distance if that's your kind of thing. Relatedly, a short walk from the cottage over to the neighbouring Curlew Weavers is recommended! Karen's place is perfectly set up for travelling with a dog. A mat and bowls are provided, there's a slate floor on which to cool one's hairy flanks (it was hot) and the gated field and stream are wonderful for a bounce/wade around. The house stays nice and cool in the high heat. Overall a great stay in a pretty, interesting and welcoming historic building, and great value for money :-)

I loved my time spent at felin-wnda! We stayed for a spectacularly sunny week in august. Karen was extremely accommodating of our last minute booking and took time out of her own holiday to organise. The cottage is cosy and clean. Plenty of hot water. Good wifi… but the main selling point is the land. We had a great time eating alfresco, reading in the sun in the big field, having fires, cooling our feet in the stream. It was heaven and a great base to explore the area. Lots of lovely beaches and coastal walks to enjoy.
