This was our second time at Greendale and we are so happy we came back. Our kids have such amazing memories of this place and wanted to come back. The surroundings are beautiful, house is perfect for large family. Perfect getaway.

I'll start by saying we can't recommend Greendale enough! It's beautiful, magical, memorable and glorious. This slice of mountain life was the perfect thing, a group of us travelled up with all of our kids, and despite the torrential downpour that would have made any weekend a bust, at Greendale it just became cozy stay in, or for the kids - a big old splash in the rain. The next day, not a cloud in the sky and the true adventure began, a morning walk to feed the chickens, an egg hunt for the kids, a couple of moos with the cows, a jaunt over to the donkeeys and a friendly pat with the horses. At night, a warm fire under the stars paired with freshly made pizza baked in the wood fire oven and some roasted chestnuts we picked earlier (thank you Cath and Fred for the gloves). There's so much more to say but i can't leave out Cath and Fred, 2 of THE greatest hosts we've all had the pleasure of meeting. Words cant describe their generosity and welcoming nature. Thank you so much!

Our hosts Cathy and Fred went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. My family and I stayed Friday and Saturday night since I was getting married in the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens on the Saturday. Cathy was very helpful and said to message if we needed anything at all. We realised on Friday night that we had forgotten string to secure the flowers to the wedding arbour. Within a minute of messaging, Cathy had responded saying they would be down shortly to give us string. We loved the interactive feel of the farm stay, with all the food for the animals provided. We especially loved the cows and chickens. It was the perfect place to stay and we hope to visit again one day and try out the fire pit and pizza oven!
