Roomy house that was clean and affordable

Absolutely our favorite Airbnb ever! It was perfect for our family of 3 couples and one teen. It had the best equipped kitchen of any rental I’ve stayed in, and was literally spotless everywhere. The furniture was comfy and great for spreading out. With the golf course right behind the home, we were able to heckle our husbands during their golf game (haha) while enjoying views of Mt Sopris and soaking in some sun. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary.

We had a group of 8 staying for a week. The house was as described in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was perfect for our group. The home provided plenty of personal space, whilst having great options to congregate and enjoy as a group. We had one person in a wheelchair and Boutique Mountain were helpful in outlining access through the back deck which only required two small steps with a large space in between (this did mean moving around the house on the lawn but it was easily doable). Once inside the house, the main floor provided everything needed so there was no need to venture beyond this level.

We loved our stay. It was expensive, but the home met our needs and expectations. The kitchen was well equipped as were the bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom was very cold. We had to buy a heater to be able to use it. The children especially enjoyed the large ottomans downstairs. The homeowners were wise in their selection of furniture and durable upholstery. The extensive library of books and games was an added and unexpected benefit. The game table in the living room was wonderful. The backyard, while not fenced, is landscaped in such a way that the children generally stayed within view. The view of Mt. Sopris is wonderful. Even better if the windows had been clean. The professional stove in the kitchen needs work. The smaller oven did not work and one of the gas burners had to be lit by hand. The excellent laundry equipment was much appreciated. All in all, a good experience. A lovely home, in need of some work.
