Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Garst Farm. The trail system was nice, and the house was clean. It was relaxing. It was fun reading about the history of the place. We could have used a few extra blankets, but managed to find some in the basement after calling the host. One small cover isn’t enough for an old farmhouse in March. We did have trouble checking in, as the instructions said to check in via text to get the door code. No one responded, however. Reaching out via phone just got me to voicemail, and messaging via airBnb didn’t get a response either. So we were hanging out at the house with no way to get in. After a short while, someone called us back and gave us the code, explaining that we were supposed to get an email with the code. However, that was not stated on the check in instructions and I did not get an email with the code. I hope they fix this immediately for future guests. Again, overall it was nice, just a few things done differently could have made it better.

This was a beautiful little stay!! Just the weekend away I needed! Had amazing history and the trails are right there. You don’t even have to drive anywhere! Looking forward to my next visit!

Huset er charmerende og har sjæl. Det bar dog også præg af at være en ældre bolig, eksempelvis kunne døren til vores værelse ikke lukkes, så vi måtte stille vores kuffert foran den. Ved indtjekning skulle vi have en kode til døren, som vi havde lidt besvær med at få fat i. Nogle andre gæster lukkede os ind. Der var rent og pænt, så på den måde var det fint.

I had some changes with my reservation and Karla was super accommodating and quick communication! I look forward to staying with her in the future!
