We travelled here for my husband's birthday. We loved the vibe here. The greenery and the colours bring alot of positivity and the food was very tasty. Our 5 course romantic dinner was a highlight. - couples, you should definitely try this one out they have an amazing setup with the lights. We always nearly over ate because of how good the food was. We loved the hospitality of Ashish, anju ma'am and Mahesh sir. Tipsy(the family pet dog) stole our heart and we'd highly recommend this spot to travellers to yercaud. it is also centrally located and all major attractions are nearby

This is probably one of the few times that this has happened - I’d visit Carlton house again not just because of the stay but because of the lovely family that welcomed us and the owner of the bungalow Tipsy. Apart from the checklist that Carlton house fulfils like being strategically placed, beautiful view and amazing room - the hosts, their hospitality and their sense of humour is what will stay with you. Must book this place if you’re headed to Yercaud - don’t think twice!

Carlton House is a great find in the southern hill station of Yercaud . A quick 30 kms drive from Salem gets you to the yercaud lake and a bare 2 kms more to the homestay. The 4 acre grounds offer plenty of greenery and birds. Don't be surprised if you're woken by the raucous call of peacocks pecking at your doorstep. The rooms are quaint and blend well with the surroundings , offering great views of the landscape .The food is all homemade and wholesome. The general atmosphere is quiet , laidback and relaxed . The homestay is run by a lovely , warm family (+ Tipsy the happy Lab) who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, even inviting us into their home. We had a lovely time there . Go there as family , it's a homestay after all not a hotel , and you'll feel perfectly at home .

Great place, has old vintage home vibes. Food was homely and good. Close to yercaud town center. There is a stream at walkable distance. We interacted with Ashish’s mom who helped us with details of places of interest and ensured our stay was good!
