It is with great regret that I have to write this negative review. Although the house is lovely and new, it was delivered to us in deplorable condition. Furthermore the host was rude and condescending and the house staff aggressive and ill mannered. Upon checkin we noticed the house was dirty. There were hairs on the counter, all the bedrooms were not made up and the towels were strewn about the bathrooms, the master bathroom had dirty sponges left in the shower, the floor had food on it and the shelves and surface areas had a lot of dust on it. When we contacted our host to complain she claimed she was shocked and had never had a complaint before. We went to the beach and upon return were greeted by the housekeeper and her partner who started yelling at us saying the house was clean and to show her what the issue was. When we showed her the hair and dust she took the hair, threw it on the ground and yelled this is only a little hair why are you complaining about that. We asked the housekeeper to also make up all the bedrooms and clean all the bathrooms and she communicated that the host told her to only make up one room since we were two people, despite us renting the whole villa. When we contacted the host she claimed since we said we were two people she only makes up one room and if we wanted other bedrooms and bathrooms made up it would be an extra charge, a comment only and insane person would make since we did not rent one room in the villa we rented the whole house. After much aggravation and many arguments the villa was eventually cleaned and bedrooms made up. When we asked the housekeeper what time she comes each day she said she had no instructions from the host to clean the house daily despite the hosts Airbnb advertisement stating daily maid service. This issue was never rectified as the host said she doesn’t offer that service despite stating it in the listing. The house unfortunately also had a horrible ant infestation. We were constantly personally cleaning the bedroom and woke up on august 25 in the middle of the night with ants crawling on us and In our bed. When we contacted the host she was unresponsive. We contacted the house staff to come and clean the ants and put pesticide and they said that if we wanted them to come we had to personally pay them which I did in order for the bedroom to be livable. The host never returned our calls I find the host and her staff to have acted in an appalling manner. All we heard from the host at the beginning was that the house was new and she never had any complaints before and we should relax and enjoy the island This may be true but a house can still be new and dirty. We are frequent visitors to the island and have stayed in the area for many years. We ended up leaving a day early as the house was unlivable. Don’t get fooled by the beauty of the pictures. The house is far from sublime and the host far from gracious or honest.

La maison de Tessa, est extrêmement agréable, lumineuse avec des fenêtres dans chaque pièce, y compris les pièces d’eau, spacieuse avec une multiplicité d’espaces extérieurs et très confortable. La piscine -non chlorée - est un bonheur. La présence de deux plages en contrebas (galets pour l’une mais sable pour l’autre) est un atout indéniable, la maison de situant par ailleurs a une demi-heure maximum d’autres lieux d’intérêt (Kardiani, Pyrgos, Panormos, superbes plages du Nord, etc). Le chemin d’accès, non bitumé, requiert la location d’un véhicule un peu surélevé.
