100% worth the price. I don’t mean that in a bad/good way. Just a place to stay for less than a week. Old vibe and is kinda cluttered. If you’re expecting organization and super new stuff, book somewhere with a higher price . Stove is broken in and the appliances are old and cruddy.

Came in town to visit my son for a few days and after my third stay in the "Heart of Lubbock" this neighborhood really has grown on me. First off, Marias house was easy to access and the room was very comfortable. I didnt need to use the refrigerator or kitchen but it looked well appointed. The bathroom was clean, water was hot, the pressure great. About the location, I think at first glance it may seem a little worn in but actually its been a great place to stay in. I have walked from the airbnb to the WalMart and back through the overton neighborhood, theres a great taqueria (Guadalajara) about 14 minutes walk, and Monomyth and Good Line Beer brewery are both 2o minute walks. Mind you there are some dogs roaming the neighborhood, but other than barking and walking along side me once they never seemed aggresive. Ubers to the campus are about $7, and $15 to the airport (about$ 25 from airport). All in all this place is excellent for one person staying a couple nights.
