Arnie's place is in a beautiful location. It has a wonderful deck and fire ring on the beach. What a lovely way to view the full moon rising over the lake. Arnie was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Charming and cozy! House was well equipped and the view is priceless! We enjoyed the large dining table for games each night. Arnie was pro-active leading up to the trip and responded right away any time we had a question. The kids loved the loft area!

What a great selection for our first airbnb rental! We needed a place to relax and leave the chaos of life behind. Mission accomplished! What a wonderful, comfortable place to enjoy our vacation. We found the waves lapping at the shoreline quite relaxing. The view of the beautiful sunrises while sitting on the deck were a great way to start the day. The kitchen was equipped to satisfy the cook in me. So glad and pleasantly surprised to find the bed very comfortable. Would definitely reconsider for a future vacation. Thanks Arnie for taking a chance on a newbie!

A very wonderful stay here. Their beach is beautiful and the water clear. The sand is so soft and beautiful, kids loved building sand castles. It is a rocky lake so I would either have water shoes or floats. Awesome nights on the beach around the fire pit and a gas fire table on the deck. The house is a cozy log cabin feel on the inside. The kitchen is very spacious with new appliances and every kitchen gadget you would need. There is no washer and dryer though so plan accordingly. About 30 minutes south of Alpena and 30min north of Oscoda. Make sure you get supplies you need before heading there. It’s on a very quiet street and seems private.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on the water. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed swimming, walks on the beach, napping in the hammock, playing board games, watching movies, and having s’mores on the fire pit. The book of recommendations that Arnie left us was very helpful and we had some great food. We can’t wait to come back!
