You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Sandy shoreline, kayaking, swimming, grilling and bonfires. Only a 5 mile drive North to Alpena or less than 4 miles to Ossineke and venture to Dinosaur Gardens or Connie's Cafe for breakfast. There are two bedrooms, the living room/dining room, kitchen, laundry, front porch and bathroom all on the main level or first floor of this home. *The Front porch is facing the road and driveway and has a comfortable chair which is a perfect spot to sit and read a book, get some work done or drink a cup of coffee. The front porch also has a couch with a pull out bed. *The living room has two couches and a smart TV situated above a gas fireplace. This room also includes the dining room table. Just pull it away from the wall for additional bench seating. The table ends lift up to reveal some playing cards. *Bedroom 1 has a queen sized bed, nightstand with USB ports attached and a closet. Extra Blanket in the closet. Electrical power strip located under the bed and beside the nightstand. *Bedroom 2 faces Lake Huron. It is a small room, has a queen sized bed, nightstand with USB ports attached and a closet. Extra blanket in the closet. Electrical power strip is located under the bed and beside the nightstand. *Small full bathroom with tub/shower and vanity. *Laundry room doubles as a half bath with a toilet and vanity. Available is a washer, dryer, Iron, Ironing board, vacuum, extra crock pot, towels and more. Beach towels are also available to use. *Kitchen is small but has everything you should need. Please ask if there is something specific you are looking for to have in the kitchen. *There are steep carpeted steps leading upstairs. Please Be Careful!! *Upstairs is a large room with two full sized beds, two twin beds, closet and a papasan chair. Extra Blankets are provided upstairs. Also it does tend to get warm upstairs if it is warm outside. There is a fan included upstairs to use. We also occasionally open both windows upstairs to get air flowing through. *There are 4 kayaks available to use. Please be advised that life jackets must be worn when using a kayak and are available in the shed. Children must not be left unattended by water and life jackets should be worn. When having a bonfire, please be careful and keep a safe distance away from the fire. Please don't let children too close to the bonfire.
