Excellent place for vacation steps away from the beach, surrounded by good restaurants and clubs. perfect for a group of 4 people and can 6 people in the room.

Sylvia’s place is truly beautiful. Stunning inside. Lovely decor and well stocked kitchen. The private pool and longe area upstairs was so cool! Also very nice to have a large community pool to use with swim up bar and food service when you want to be more social. We enjoyed morning lattes and a terrific breakfast at Chez Celine, an easy 5-10 minute walk to 5th ave, then turn right. Our only problem was on our last night. For some reason the pool pump upstairs was going and it sounded like a very loud washing machine was over our heads. We contacted Sylvia about it and she jumped on trying to solve the problem. Unfortunately it was after hours for their maintenance person, so nothing could be done till the morning, after we left. It was a little hard to fall asleep, but I put on an audio book to distract myself and fall asleep to. Other than that little hiccup it was a great stay. I’d go back!

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment in an excellent location! The roof deck is breathtaking, even better than in the pictures. My kids didn’t want to leave the pool. We had a couple glitches at check in but Sylvia responded immediately and got things sorted out in a few minutes. This is a very fun area with tons of restaurants and bars around. Sometimes I found it too loud for my taste, but it’s what you get at Playa Mamitas. Aldea Thai is a condo-hotel and you are required to wear a wrist band.

What a special place! We enjoyed our stay very much. The sunrise on the roof was lovely with the birds and ocean sounds. The easy walk to the beach was great and the location is very walkable throughout town. Highly recommend!
