Zero communication from the host, except for an automated text the day before we arrived, which gave us a different address than what was stated on the Airbnb details. It was also a completely different house to the photos that were shown on the advertisement. It was however a clean and convenient base for us for 2 weeks. Our checkout was 11am and we were rudely kicked out by cleaners at 10:25am and had to stand on the road with all our luggage, waiting to be picked up.

Unfortunately we were not provided our check in details in a timely manner, meaning we had to phone numerous times while waiting to check in, before being given the relevant details. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, the home is beautiful and we would recommend for sure.

Cheap and cheerful. Plenty of space for five friends to get together. Kitchen had most things we needed. Bed linen and towels were great and all clean. A few more mugs would have been great and enough table mats for everybody. Location was close enough to walk into town and great to access the railway station. Communication was limited. A number of windows in the house were boarded up which as not expected. The property is surrounded by restricted parking and there was not a permit in the property despite it saying there was on the notice board. The parking challenges were not mentioned on the site.

Disappointing - misleading advertisement re property, out of date car park permit so paid for a long stay car park to avoid moving the car every 2 hours, x2 external broken windows boarded up with plastic and wood, x1 internal door window boarded up with wood, huge stain on the dining room ceiling, TV had sound only and no picture, leave time confirmed on booking as 11am then emailed to say it was 10am otherwise there would be a charge. No contact from manager or company when informed of issues on arrival and still none 2 weeks later. Left a day earlier than booked to stay. Would have left sooner but couldn't due to reason for booking!

Definitely not as advertised and I would not recommend booking this home. Very spacious property over 3 floors. Has had some modernisation throughout with a new carpet fitted but in the main renovations are to a very poor standard. Living area uncomfortable with main sofa seating almost on the floor. Main bathroom and toilet floorings were heavily marked (water damage as well as other marks) and were unhygenic. Plumbing poor as could be seen by damp patches on multiple ceilings and water coming through the ceiling to the kitchen when the shower was on. Ground floor had an awful damp smell too. 3 windows (in 2 bedrooms and the bathroom door ) had no glass and were borded up with wood. Parking permit was out of date. No response from host to any of my emails on arrival or during our stay.
