We had a great weekend stay. The property is comfortable, clean, well-equipped and in a great location (the Bishopthorpe - ‘Bishy’ - Road area is our favourite place to stay when we’re visiting York). It was easy to walk into the centre of York and there are good cafés, restaurants and shops in the local neighbourhood. Responsive host who was quick to answer questions and provided clear and useful information. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay, property well equipped and in a great location, easy to walk into York. We used to live in York so know it well, would definitely recommend property and location. Restaurants and shops etc on Bishopthorpe Road so handy. Parking with the permit provided was easy, great communication with Stays, we were able to arrive a little early as property was ready and someone from Stays even delivered the hamper! Much appreciated.

Great place to stay!! Really clean and spacious, only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town. Also close to Floris bakery, which is a huge plus. I would 100% recommend!

Lovely stay, easy walk to town and the train station. Great wee high street next door which pub and take aways.

Our family (2 adults, 2 young kids and a baby) enjoyed our stay at this terraced property in the lovely neighbourhood of Bishy Road over Christmas. Some commendations: Check in was straightforward, the location is very peaceful but only a fairly short walk away from the city centre attractions. The house has excellent heating, the bathroom was spotless and has a very nice shower, the kitchen is very well equipped and we had all the utensils we required. We were provided with a cot (though we were assured this comes with a mattress - it doesn’t, you need to bring your own cot mattress and bedding). There are some points to note, however: the stairs are really narrow and less suitable for very young kids; the bedrooms are tiny; no additional bin liners had been provided and the outside bins were filled by local traders.
