Great place to stay in the eastern suburbs. Close to South Head Road with frequent bus service and Double Bay with lost lots of (designer) shops and amenities. minutes from the beach and a safe seawater pool to swim in. Close to amenities also means urban noise, something to be aware of. We enjoyed the older house but it means squeeky floors and some noise transfer from the neighbours. Nothing too crazy but we live very rural and are not as used to urban noise. If you normally live in a city, this might feel quiet to you. But generally, this is a nice place to stay.

We had a fantastic Easter staycation break at Annies unit. It was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped, and the hosts communication was clear and proactive. The location was perfect, across the road from Red Leaf beach and walkable to Rose Bay and Double Bay shops, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

This apartment is a reasonable size and a useful location for us this trip. But it’s in dire need of a deep clean and renovation. It’s like staying at your deceased eccentric great aunts flat. Very dated. Easy to get inside. Host was quick to reply and remind us to turn the A/C off… Advertised as an art deco apartment, but really an excuse for having old dusty dated and broken equipment and furniture. The only reason places like this continue to get people to stay is that it’s in Sydney. I agree with the previous review about the trundle bed, completely unstable. We had to put cushions under the wheels to stop the children injuring themselves as it rolled around. We had to clean the dishwasher on arrival. Broken light switches. Mouldy surfaces and sealant. If you don’t mind a poorly maintained, but not-bad-sized apartment this will be fine.
