The staff treated us like family and the food was amazing. From my three year old cousin to my 78 year old mom, every one enjoyed the pool, the ocean and the amazing atmosphere.
The staff was excellent and they cater to all of our needs. This location is beyond gorgeous. If you’re looking for something intimate that a resort can’t give you this is the place. We were there for four days and three nights and truly everybody makes you feel like you’re at home. Not one day we felt homesick.
Pleasantly impressed the place is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, staff was excellent, Angel, Ariel & Nina always available and helpful. The chef absolutely exceptional. We had our own private resort very safe and secure, will definitely be back and will recommend Ben’s property to all my family and friends.
Barefoot Beach Pad is a great little private hotel perfect for a Yoga retreat. There were 16 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and never feel crowded, or share several of the common areas when we wanted company. The meals are customizable, the rooms are quite large, and the location is perfect. The hotel is well managed, wonderfully staffed, and prettier in person. You're just east of the busier parts of Cabarete so it's very peaceful, but close enough to town for a long walk or quick drive. Nina was always responsive and did a wonderful job taking care of our group, arranging excursions, taxis, wnd anything else we needed. The hotel staff was always friendly and went out of their way to help. Special thanks to Janet, Ariel, and Angel for all your help and attention. If you're looking for a relaxing stay in Cabarete this is a wonderful option.
Everything about Barefoot Cabarete was amazing. Nina was always helpful with our planning and excursions and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We went with the all inclusive food option and it was really good. We overate at every meal and it was always delicious. A special shout out to Angel, the best bartender ever, and to Andrea and Andreas who worked miracles in the kitchen!

Hi everybody. I'm Ben. After 20+ years as a journalist which took me around the world, my wife and I decided to move to the Dominican Republic and share our beachfront property. I love writing and LOVE eating and cooking. I love sharing stories. My journey so far has been full of adventure and this latest chapter as a host is truly fun and rewarding. My wife and I took all of the best experiences we gathered from our travels around the planet and applied them to our concept at Barefoot which is actually really simple.
