We had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Mesquite Cottage, hosted by Jared in Patagonia. The cottage had everything you might need, from bathroom essentials to kitchen staples. The environment was cozy and relaxing, with a separate sleeping and living space - perfect when you want to sleep in and your partner is an early riser! We enjoyed the dark, quiet evenings and singing birds in the morning. The location was perfect for our hiking and birding adventures which took us to Madera Canyon one day, and the Sierra Vistas another day. There's also beautiful nature and bird spots right in Patagonia. We walked to Patagonia Lumber one evening - where there was good beer and live music (a local outdoor beer/wine bar). We did our grocery shopping and electric vehicle charging in Tucson, as options for these were a bit scarce nearer to Patagonia. Overall we had a delightful stay and agreed that the comforts of the cottage made this one of our favorite Airbnb stays.

Really a lovely little spot. Quiet, perfectly appointed and easy walking distance from Main Street and the local birding hot spots. The two pooches were every bit as charming as advertised (although Appa did ask me to throw a particularly non-aerodynamic stuffed hedgehog — I’d rate Appa down one star except that profound cuteness demands a five-star canine rating). I would happily stay here again.

Great stay. The small doggies on property were super cute and sweet. We were able to walk around town for breakfast, dinner and even to see the hummingbird sanctuary. Great location. The place is much bigger than we expected, lots of room if you have more than two guests. Stephen and I had a very nice time. Thank you!

Nicely decorated, comfortable space with well-stocked kitchen. Terrific location. Would definitely stay here again.
