A wonderful place to reunite with old friends. The location is beautiful and the house is incredible, cozy and comfortable. Micah was helpful and attentive to our needs and requests. We all enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would love to return one day!

A perfect fit for our family. It was great to have 2 separate living spaces, while some of us enjoyed relaxing in a quiet room with a fire in the wood burning stove others could play and be more active. Exploring the ground, enjoying the garden and collecting eggs from the resident chickens were highlights.

We enjoyed our stay at this unique and beautiful place immensely. It accommodated our large group perfectly. Many skylights brightened the interior. The kitchen is large and extremely well stocked. The beds are firm but comfy. There are plenty of linens. The grounds are truly stunning. We relaxed in the sparkling clean hot tub after long days of hiking. There is a lovely patio with a large dining table. The road up to the eco refuge is steep with many hair pin turns but we managed it fine in an older Corolla and a rental car. Point Reyes is an adorable, unpretentious small town only 15-20 minute drive away.

My friends and I spent the weekend celebrating my birthday at the Ecorefuge and it was even more beautiful in person than the photos convey. The home and grounds are imbued with cultivated magic, with a lot of personality and history, which is rare for an Airbnb these days. Micah was also a very welcoming host and gave us a tour, sharing a lot of interesting context, which really drove home what a special place this is. I hope I can stay again!
