圭内斯 · 整套出租单元 · 2室3床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Eryri: Stylish 2-bed Apartment with Great Views
'Eryri' is both the Welsh word for Snowdonia and a homophone for an eagle's nest, and you will feel one with those majestic birds in this cozy, second floor apartment. The living/dining room affords spectacular views and flows into the fully fitted kitchen. Both bedrooms are ensuite with the master bedroom having a panoramic window onto that view and the twin room overlooking woodland. Eryri provides accommodation for up to 4 people along with shared access to a spacious terrace and sun deck. Eryri is one of 3 apartments in Bryn Melyn Apartments. Formerly a highly-rated guest house the building was sympathetically transformed in 2017 into high quality holiday apartments over two floors. Accommodating a maximum of ten guests across the 3 apartments the complex offers a 'mini-resort' feel with a luxurious shared sun-deck plus private car park.
Once again a great stay in a top notch air bnb. You'd have to look hard to find a better one anywhere.
Amazing apartment with very friendly hosts who are on site for advice on local attractions. The view is incredible and the apartment has everything you need for your stay
Just back from a 4 night break here and it is just as good as all the other reviews say. The apartment has everything you need and more, and we managed to squeeze in an hour in the hot tub between the rain which was bliss. The kids found some games and books to occupy themselves in the communal hall as well. The views are lovely and the walk down into the town is about 10/15 mins but the walk back particularly in gale force wind and rain was challenging and the drive up to the apartment does take some practice. This time of year seems a few of the shops aren't open and others are on short days, but the Co-Op is open for food/drink. There's plenty to see and do in the area within walking distance or drive.
The apartments are situated on the edge of Barmouth, a characterful small town situated at the mouth of the scenic Mawddach Estuary. Surrounded with stunning scenery and blessed with an awesome blue-flag beach Barmouth also has a healthy High Street full of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and is a perfect location from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park.
Barmouth has a direct train service to Birmingham via the Cambrian Coast line (one of the World's Most Scenic Railways according to a recent Channel 5 series). Road access is easy (about 2.5 hours from Birmingham and Manchester). It lies on the Wales Coast Path, the Sustrans National Cycling Network and is the gateway for all sorts of stunning walking and hiking, including the iconic Mawddach trail featured in Julia Bradbury's Railway Walks TV series.
