Great little cabin with just the right amount of space!! Warm welcome with the music :) The hot tub was very relaxing after a long car ride. The breakfast was amazing!!

The host was great, she answered all of my questions prior to arrival and during our stay. The road to the cabin was well maintained and easy to drive. It was not as private as lead do believe in previous reviews. You had a cabin to the left and right of you, which is easily seen. The hot tub was a bit of a disappointment for us. It would not stay warm and the water level was constantly low. I would recommend bring towels and wash cloths. They do provide four towels and two wash cloths. Breakfast is provided daily which was delicious. We loved the town of Galax and found several things to do in town. Over all the visit was ok!

We had such an amazing time. Already planning a trip back! The breakfast was so tasty. Also, very close to the blue ridge parkway and a beautiful drive to tons of awesome hikes and wineries. There is no wifi or working cable but there was a dvd player. I recommend bringing a dvd or two and otherwise just enjoying being “unplugged”. Hot tub was great.

We really loved the true cabin experience we had at Tempe's place! The pictures absolutely don't do it justice. It's so beautiful and cozy and the hot tub is the best addition! If you're looking for a place near the beautiful sites of Southern VA that isn't impossible for most cars to reach, this is it! You'll have some basic kitchen supplies and everything you need in the bathroom. The nights outside by the fire were beautiful and tranquil. And Tempe was the loveliest host you can imagine who tried to make our stay as welcoming as possible and even offered breakfast every day! PLEASE NOTE: We were actually expecting a completely secluded location which we had inquired about and she lead us to believe it was exactly that, but upon arrival, we were greeted immediately by barking dogs and a neighbor whose cabin was literally right next to ours and walked up to our car and told us not to go inside our cabin since it wasn't ready. Not only were we thrown off because the cabin wasn't ready at the check in time as Tempe had reassured, but we were EXTREMELY disappointed to see someone who could literally just walk a few feet to our door. So, if you're looking for a COMPLETELY secluded location with REAL privacy, this may no be the choice for you. It was a magical stay and again, Tempe is a fantastic host and the property is beautiful! You will definitely enjoy yourself and have a lovely stay at Tempe's place.

The photos in the listing do not do this place justice. It was a beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, clean, and lovely. We enjoyed our quiet time away from the world here.
