Very good experience overall obviously first time off the grid but paying that price for what we’ve got we could have a lot more in the city. Great reception very clean Hut and very well maintained garden the view was great, we enjoyed the peace and quiet with cute horses in front of us ! Really recommend if you’re willing to put the price on it.

Perfect weekend away with everything we needed. We can honestly say that this rental hut was so quaint, cosy and comfortable inside. I would definitely recommend staying here to get away for some peace and just chill out. What more could you want:) perfect hosting… everything went so smoothly and our host was great at responding to my messages. There was a lovely lady onsite too who we saw very briefly. We had good internet too. Would definitely return again . Thanks

A great place for a quiet weekend away, great surroundings and very private. Instructions were super clear by the host and answered quickly when I had to him contact him. Would stay again!

Had a lovely weekend getaway at the Shepherd's Hut! Beautiful views from the front door/windows and just the cosiest interior. I booked it as a getaway from the city for a weekend, somewhere where I could curl up with a good book and just be surrounded by nature and it was perfect. I enjoyed wandering the local footpaths in the afternoon and would have loved to have a nice bbq on the outdoor fireplace had the weather been a bit warmer. I also enjoyed lounging in the bathtub in the evenings, what a treat. I didn't explore much of the local area, but there was a great, in-depth guide of things to do should you be up for venturing out! Oh, and wifi was excellent- I had no problems streaming Netflix at night :)
