Peaceful, charming, cozy.. the perfect getaway! Even though the weather was terrible and we couldn’t do much of the hikes/walks that Jo and Daniel recommended, we felt at ease in the cottage with the fire tv, jenga, playing cards and above all the very fast broadband! The sound of the rain on the roof was peaceful, the fireplace that we used once (regrettably) was majestic, the house was squeaky clean and was easy to find. The pictures truly don’t do the cottage justice, it looks even nicer in real life! We managed to do a lot in the area with lots of shops and Portsmouth/Brighton being a short drive away. Only negatives if I were to be honest are the thin walls makes it easy to hear the passing cars that most of the times go 40mph on the main road, there are a lot of mosquitos in the area so summer you will need some good repellent and there is no phone coverage but the internet makes up for it! Other than those things, it was genuinely a perfect stay! Thank you for having us!

Tolles Cottage um hier eine schöne Urlaubszeit zu verbringen. Super Ausstattung (manchmal ein bisschen wenig Geschirr und Besteck, manches exakt sechs mal vorhanden), Kamin und Gelände super. Der Hundeauslauf ist wunderbar, der Schafe lieb und werden gerne gestreichelt und kennen Hunde. Toll mit Hund. Im Cottage ist alles, was man braucht und es war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns über die tolle Weihnachtsdekorationen (samt Weihnachtsbaum) und den Snackkorb sehr gefreut. Leider muss man eine Straße entlang gehen (ca. 200m), um zum public footpath zu kommen. Aber das geht, weil normalerweise wenig Verkehr da ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Everything you need is there and in good condition. Quite straightforward to find. We were attending a function at Avisford Park Hotel nearby and preferred to stay self catering as it's only a mile away. Cottage is directly on a country road. There's some noise from passing traffic but it is quiet overnight. I'm particularly sensitive to noise and it was not a big issue for me. If you live in a town you probably wouldn't notice! Recommended.

Really helpful and responsive communication ahead of our stay, then a very nice welcome when we arrived. The cottage is as described, easy to use and very comfortable. Overall an excellent weekend's stay. Thank you Jo!
