We were so excited to stay at this loft because of its well-decorated, charming, spacious interior and proximity to the amenities of historic downtown Wilmington. Despite exceeding our expectations on both of those fronts, the place left a lot to be desired concerning cleanliness. I killed one cockroach upon initial arrival and another after getting back from dinner in the evening. After walking around barefoot on the hardwood floors for 10min, the bottom of our toddler’s feet were tinted black with a film of dirt. There were red stains (blood?) on the couch and black stains on one of the bedspreads. Lastly, the bathroom emitted a musty, sour odor. We really expected to love this space when we booked it but ended up sleeping poorly and not wanting to spend any more time in the loft than absolutely necessary.

This place is absolutely beautiful and really fit the charm of the downtown setting The apartment building itself was actually relatively quiet so if you’re worried about staying in an apartment, don’t be over had a great time and we definitely booked this place again if we come down in the future.

Aaron and Lisa were excellent hosts. very responsive and their place was just as advertised. Perfect, walkable location with lots of restaurants. I definitely would stay here again!
