We had such a great time in Filipe's place. The house is beautiful and lovely with all the equipment and amenities you need. The location is perfect, 40min drive to Lisbon, 20min drive to Sintra and Cascais, and 20min walk to the nearest beach. The surrounding area is so nice with green mountains, coastlines, good restaurants, and great markets. Filipe is a great host. He sent us the exact location before our arrival and walked us through everything in the house. He sent us tons of good information regarding restaurants and attractions around. We went to almost all the restaurants he recommended and everyone of them is great! Also he helped us connect with a few local caters and we had a great time interacting with them. Thanks again, Filipe!! Last but definitely not least, the local people are so kind and friendly. To my surprise, they all speak good English and communication is not a problem at all. I fell in love with the country and the people and will definitely come back!

Die Lage des schönen Hauses ist perfekt! In einem Pinienwald gelegen, absolut ruhig und dennoch nahe genug um fußläufig zum Meer zu gelangen. Eine völlig ausreichende Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe sowie diverse Restaurants und Strandbars gleich um die Ecke. Filipe gab uns zusätzlich noch ein paar Tipps und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und ein paar Snacks für den ersten Abend. Die Kombination aus Meer, diversen Wandermöglichkeiten sowie die Nähe zu Lissabon fanden wir unschlagbar!
