We loved our time at Paddy's cottage! My family have been staying in the Sheephaven area since before I was born, so I cannot recommend the location enough for anyone looking to explore Dunfanghy, Ards forest, the beautiful Marble Hill beach, Tramore, and Downing's beaches, and Glenveagh National Park. It's also only a short drive to Letterkenny! We spent every morning being greeted by Jack, the friendliest boy, before heading 9 minutes away to Marble Hill to let our two dogs run wild. Paddy had the gorgeous burner lit for us when we arrived, and he kept the fuel pile well stocked, so even on the one wet day we had during our stay (I do not recommend visiting Horn Head in a hail storm) we were able to light the log fire, grab some hot chocolate, and cosy up with a book. The cottage itself is just as described, cosy and comfortable, and nestled in quiet farmland that seems lifted right out of a fairytale. We hope we get the chance to come back someday!

Lovely stay, great value, great for dogs, close to village but very quiet. Very helpful and friendly host. Highly recommended!

Paddy was really friendly, a perfect host. Gave us lots of information for places to visit and things to do. I would not hesitate to recommend Paddy and his cottage to other visitors

We really enjoyed our stay at Paddy's. the cottage was warm, clean, comfortable and had all the bits we needed. The location is great for exploring Donegal. Dog friendly and beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay again.
