thanks for a lovely stay and apologies about the lady who sneaked in - just a minor point but we find it useful to have something to clean the bath with for the next person and same thing with the loo - I couldn't find a loo brush. Also, is it not less work to have a bin liner in the bedroom bin? none of these things detracted from our stay but could help you? the room was very nice cosy and comfortable and it was a delicious breakfast. best wishes to you both. Sue and Kevin continually went the extra mile with their generous hospitality and helped with dinner planning and attraction ideas. A Quality continental and cooked breakfast- which was again very generous. The comfort level of the mattresses and pillows far exceeded our expectations 10/10!! Spotlessly clean throughout and improvements being made all the while from these newish owners to this traditional British hotel. The Countryman hotel is a lovely breath of fresh air that pleasantly takes you back to simpler times
